Qualifications/Duties:
Texas Health Cleburne seeks to hire a Paramedic to work full time in the Emergency Department. The work schedule is for this opportunity is 7p (1900) to 7a (0700) and will be rotating weekends and holidays.

The ideal candidate will possess the following qualifications:

EDUCATION
*High School graduate or (GED) equivalent required
*Completed Paramedic education through certification or Associate Degree Program required

EXPERIENCE
*Six months experience as Paramedic preferred
*Strongly prefer minimum of six (6) months acute patient care experience
*Strongly prefer one (1) year city/county/private EMS experience.

LICENSE/CERTIFICATE
*Current Texas Paramedic certification or licensure required
*Current BLS and ACLS upon hire required

SKILLS
*Positive interpersonal skills and ability to function in a fast-paced environment;

*Must possess knowledge of medical terminology, excellent, interpersonal skills and be customer service focused

*Able to perform basic computer skills - Use the EPIC/Care Connect computerized charting.

Texas Health Harris Methodist Hospital Cleburne is a 137-bed, full-service hospital that has served Cleburne and the Johnson County area since 1986. Located about 35 miles south of Fort Worth, hospital services include surgery, women’s care, gastroenterology, orthopedics and ear, nose and throat care.
