4+ years experience gathering, understanding, and documenting business reporting requirements for complex data warehouse solutions for deployment using InfoSphere products including: Information Data Architect, Datastage, Quality Stage, Business Glossary, Information Analyzer, Metadata Workbench, Information Services Director, Blueprint Director, Fast Track, and Optim in a Data Warehouse environment.
4+ years quality assurance experience in a data warehouse environment working directly with business users.
4+ years experience gathering and documenting testing requirements working directly with business users .
4+ years experience defining data quality procedures, supporting data governance procedures, defining/following data security policies, and supporting master data management strategies using appropriate tools
Support & Maintenance Incidents, Requests, Timely Escalations,
Estimates (Labor), Root Cause Analysis, Triage, Communication (customer/vendor), Production Support/Monitoring, Documentation (Updates/Review), Customer Satisfaction Surveys.
Work with the business users, DBA, ETL Architect, Data Architect, & Cognos Architect to gather/document testing requirements for changes to reports or existing data marts, warehouse environments, and staging areas as needed; with minimal assistance. Responsible for the maintenance and periodic review of documentation and Knowledge Base Documentation, updating as needed. Complete triage and root cause analysis on incidents identified in the production environment and ensure proper resolution; with minimal supervision. Consistently complete incidents within service level agreements; with minimal supervision. 95% of Customer Survey scores will be a 3 or greater. 90% of Customer Survey scores will be a 4 or greater. 95% of Change Notices will be closed by End Time of Notice, measured quarterly. Incident/Problem Tickets - Acknowledgement & Appropriate Description performed 90% based on severity protocol. Sev1=15 min/4hr, Sev2=60min/8hr, Sev3=24hr/72hr, Sev4=7day/30day)

Gather, document, and communicate accurate, detailed, and extensively diagramed testing requirements at an appropriate level of detail suitable for use by data warehouse architects / analysts and application developers; following established standards; with minimal supervision. Identify and obtain business user cooperation needed in order to properly document requirements. Plan, execute, and document user interviews and outcomes while building solid relationships with business users; with minimal supervision
Collaborate with key members of the design team to design, build, test, and deploy an environment that supports a single version of the truth, actionable results, flexibility for the future, performance, data quality, and data governance. Fully define, document, and communicate scope, goals, desired functionality and features.
Collaborate in the conceptualization, analysis, development, and deployment strategies for data storage, ETL, and reporting at the enterprise level with minimal supervision. Responsible for the accurate documentation of business terms, reporting needs, calculations, and any appropriate metadata; using available tools
Ensure that established standards, quality requirements & best practices are followed in all development efforts. Participate in the planning, development and execution, and documentation of unit and integrated test plans. Assist in the development and review of detailed testing plans estimating duration and identifying dependencies. Communicate with customer, project team and vendors in a timely manner and escalates issues & risks appropriately
Identify, develop and document detailed business requirements and detailed specifications through the Data Warehouse life cycle integrating with existing data warehouse environment. Perform detailed data analysis & profiling including data quality and consistency by monitoring production data. Review data models, ETL design documents, and BI design documents with appropriate team members to verify they meet business requirements. Provide timely and accurate estimates for documentation, analysis, and testing tasks. Work with the DBA, ETL Architect, Data Architect, and Cognos architect to develop high performance and highly scalable data marts, warehouse environments, and staging areas

Complete required training by deadlines established and complete at least 8 hours of skill education annually while assisting others. Document and follow quality assurance guidelines and processes. 8 hours minimum time to be spent in educational opportunities. 95% of weekly time entry to be entered by Wednesday of following week. 100% PEAK Reviews completed within appropriate effective pay period. 70% of PMO Project Milestone Dates will be met.
