Qualified candidates will possess the following:
Min. Education required:
Licensed in the State of Texas as a Registered Nurse and or possess a Bachelor’s Degree in a related area
Min. Experience required: Two (2) years experience in childbirth or adult education.
Current TX RN license, BSN preferred
Degree in a related family education area or a minimum of 60 hours of coursework.
Lamaze, ICEA, IBCLC certification preferred and BCLS required.
2 years staff development or adult education experience and or demonstrated expertise.
certification in childbirth education or
Actively working towards certification.
Effective interpersonal skills and adult education skills;
Verbal and written communication skills in English
