Shift days: Monday - Friday
Hours: 8:00AM to 5:00PM w/ 20% travel to other THPG clinics.
This position will be responsible for all internal and external quality and clinical audits for THPG.
2 years in healthcare auditing, coding and compliance.

CPC - Certified Professional Coder
Certified Facilitator of Chronic Disease Management Program
Complete quality and clinical audits in a timely and accurate manner
• Complete audits according to template and
• Conduct timely follow up to requests, inquiries
and feedback related to the audit
• Communicate to Manager/Director requesting
audit any barriers, obstacles or concerns
related to audit or material used to complete
• Coordinate activities to obtain appropriate
medical records, copies of supporting
documentation and other related materials
needed to complete the audit.
• Utilize standing clinical protocols to initiate
• Immediately reports unethical or illegal activities
Utilize quality and clinical finding to facilitate and provide education associated with findings to providers, PM, RD, Etc
• Subject matter expert to understanding/train on
audit criteria and documentation requirements
• Communicate needs to requestor of the audit
• Request needed resources and support to
complete the audit
Maintain master spreadsheet with activity related to audits in a safe and secure location
-Maintain Audit master spreadsheet
- Report out snapshots based on quality findings
-Create analysis and trend graphs
-Communicate findings to appropriate person,
department or system
-Identify gaps in care
Utilize clinical expertise for development and use of auditing tools and templates
Will participate in quality improvement initiatives and provide clinical expertise to develop clinical recommendations for evidence based quality metrics, clinical protocols, clinical workflows, research and education.
Develop and maintain workflow and process for conducting the audit by agreed upon deadline.
Other duties as assigned.
Skills and Abilities:
Skills required (if applicable): Basic knowledge of EMR (Care Connect and Allscripts), Advanced knowledge of medical procedures and documentation. Ability to work independently with minimal direct supervision. Basic time management and project management. Excellent verbal and written communication skills; outstanding interpersonal skills; the ability to relate positively with individuals at all levels both internally and externally. Proven physician relations and customer satisfaction skills
