Qualifications/Duties:
Minimum Education Required:
Bachelor's Degree Accounting, Finance or other
Business related field

Minimum Qualifications Required:
3 years finance healthcare experience; 1 year decision support experience preferred

Licenses and Certifications:
CPA - Certified Public Accountant preferred

Required Skills:
Strong PC literacy with full suite of Microsoft applications. Prefer SQL experience and experience with rational database.

Job Duties/Essential Functions:
FINANCIAL/OPERATIONAL ANALYSIS:
- Perform data modeling and data analysis using statistical techniques.
- Analyze variances reported at the end of financial periods in order to identify the causes and implications (operational or financial) of said variances.
- Participate in operational benchmarking results that will be used to measure and set goals for improving performance.
- Prepare and deliver decision support reports to both internal and external customers.
- Perform ad hoc analysis.

DATA MANAGEMENT/COMPUTER PROFICIENCY:
- Establishes data accuracy and validity derived from a variety of systems.
- Work with ITS in insuring data integrity of the Decision Support database.
- Maintain data repositories that are free of data errors and up to date to be used in analysis reports.
- Interface with end-users of the decision support system to determine requirements for data, reports, analysis.
