Our Cardiac Step Down Unit is in need of a Registered Nurse. The ideal candidate for this position will be a team player with excellent communication and organizational skills.

**** Shift: 7PM- 7AM for a total of 24 hours per week and rotating weekends ****

Qualifications for this position include:

* RNs hired after January 2017 require completion of BSN within 2 years of start date. RNs hired
between January 2014 and December 2016 require completion of BSN within 3 years of start date

Minimum experience:
1 year experience as a clinical nurse or completion of an RN residency program

Preferred experience:
* Recent one year of Cardiac Step Down as RN


Required skill:
A high degree of confidentiality, positive interpersonal skills, and ability to function in a fast-paced environment.

* Current license to practice as a Registered Nurse in the State of Texas; Current RN licensure

*ACLS and Current AHA BLS training.
* NIHSS within 30 days of hire
*CPI within 60 days of hire
