Our Emergency Department is in need of a Registered Nurse on a Full time basis.
The Emergency Department is a 45 bed Emergency department with more than 41,000 patient-visits a year, the emergency room at Texas Health Plano is well-equipped and one of the largest in Collin County. Board-certified physicians and registered nurses provide personalized care for emergency room patients.
Hours: Full Time Days. 3P-3A, 3 Days a week with weekend and holiday requirements
* Graduate of a NLN (National League of Nursing) or CCNE ((Commission on Collegiate Nursing Education)
* Current RN licensure or compact licensure recognized by the Texas Board of Nursing;
* RNs hired within THR after December, 2016, require completion of BSN within 2 years of start date
*One year experience as a clinical nurse, or completion of an RN residency program, or acceptance into a THR residency program
*ACLS and Current AHA BLS training
*CPI within 30 days of hire
* PALS/ENPC within 6 months of hire
*TNCC within one year of hire
* 1 year previous Emergency experience in an acute care facility preferred
*In addition, you must hold a high degree of confidentiality, positive interpersonal skills and the ability to function in a fast-paced environment.
