Texas Health Harris Methodist Hospital Fort Worth is hiring for a Manager Periop Business Operations. The qualified candidate will have the following education and experience.
MINIMUM EDUCATION REQUIRED: Bachelor's Degree in related field. Master's Degree in Healthcare Administration or Business Administration preferred.
MINIMUM EXPERIENCE REQUIRED: 3+ years of related healthcare experience.
Business/financial data experience related to Perioperative services is preferred.
MINIMUM REQUIRED SKILLS: Strong PC literacy with full suite of Microsoft Office applications especially Excel. Prefer experience with Crystal Reports and database maintenance. Excellent interpersonal and communication skills. Strong customer service and problem resolution skills; Strong interpersonal communication, critical thinking skills, and ability to build collaborative relationships to enhance outcomes; Good organizational and time management skills.
DUTIES/RESPONSIBILITIES: Encompasses organizational forecasting ability and intuitive insight to maximize revenue potential and optimal patient outcomes for the OR and will be accountable for the oversight of POS computer systems. This position will also use metrics to project budget and materials variances, review potential cost overruns, summarize financial data, track trends accurately, and reconcile financial discrepancies & variances.
