Qualifications/Duties:
Texas Health Dallas Department of Psychiatry is seeking to hire a Social Worker LMSW to work PRN covering various duties within the department.   The locations would include the general psych and eating disorder units at Texas Health Dallas, as well as the outpatient satellite clinics near the hospital, in Uptown Dallas and in Rockwall.  Some weekend work will be required.  Previous experience working in a behavioral health facility setting is preferred.

WORK SCHEDULE:
PRN (as needed) 20 hours weekly is the current need

EDUCATION:
Master's Degree in Social Work required

EXPERIENCE:
2  years of healthcare related Social Work experience is required

LICENSE / CERTIFICATION:
UPON HIRE:
LMSW- Licensed Master Social Worker (LMSW) OR
LCSW- Licensed Clinical Social Worker

BCLS - Basic Cardiac Life Support

30 days after hire:
CPI - Crisis Prevention Intervention Training

12 months after hire:
ACPI - Advanced Crisis Prevention Intervention Training

SKILLS:
Fundamental Knowledge and skills in Social Work assessment and intervention as well as alternative levels of care, community resources and healthcare industry. Sound interpersonal skills and able to multitask and think critically in a fast paced environment. Independently practices as part of the healthcare team.
