Minimum Requirements:

Education- Master degree in Exercise Science or an Allied Health field

Experience- 1 year Cardiac Rehab

License/Certification- BLS with in 30 days of hire, ACLS with in 60 days of hire, and EP-C preferred

Work Schedule/Hours- PRN (As Needed), Mon- Fri 0630-1830, depending on staffing needs

Essential Duties/Responsibilities:
*Assists in the identification of ineffective and costly processes and takes action to improve those processes.
*Utilizes evidence-based practice.
*Participates in process improvement activities within the department/hospital
*Provides evidence of participation in process improvement activities.
*Collaborates with the multidisciplinary team to improve care processes that promote continuity of care. Initiates action to meet patient and/or significant others need for information.
*Takes action to reduce/eliminate patient risk
*Adapts care measures to reflect age-specific and developmental considerations. Performs technical procedures safely, proficiently.
*Performs as resource/instructor of technical skills.
*Produces documentation that initiates, follows and revises patient's plan of care.
*Produces documentation that supports and meets regulatory requirements.
*Works with other team members to resolve patient issues.
*Utilizes two patient identifiers before blood samples are drawn.
*Assures alarms on patient care devices are not silenced or set inappropriately.
*Assessments include age-specific, cognitive and psychosocial parameters are performed and documented per policy.
*Evaluates the patient's progress toward attainment of outcomes, revising the plan as indicated/per policy.
