Qualifications/Duties:
Texas Health Harris Methodist Fort Worth, a Magnet status facility, is currently searching for a Full  Time Endoscopy RN to help meet the growing needs of our patients.

The Endoscopy Registered Nurse is responsible for the nursing activities related to care of the patient experiencing an endoscopy or other invasive procedure. The Registered Nurse is a resource person and provides guidance to non-licensed personnel. The staff member can expect to care for adult patients, including geriatric and pediatric patients from 1 year through adolescence.

Required minimum education:

*Graduate of a NLN (National League of Nursing) or CCNE (Commission on Collegiate Nursing Education) accredited nursing programs.
*For RNs hired after Jan 2014 completion of BSN within 3 years of THR RN start date as defined in offer letter.
*Effective Dec 2015 RNs hired or transferring in THR completion of BSN within 2 years.
*BSN preferred upon hire.


Required license/certification:

*Current AHA BLS training
*Current AHA ACLS training
*Current Active TX RN License or Compact State RN License
*A high degree of confidentiality, positive interpersonal skills, and ability to function in a fast-paced environment.

Required Qualifications:


*2 years Registered Nurse in Endoscopy , will consider ICU, Emergency or Day Surgery and Med/Surg experience in an acute care hospital setting or graduate of RN Residency program.
*BSN


Schedule :

*7:30 am -4:00 pm (Flexible schedule) (Shift could start before or after 7:30 AM)
*Monday through Friday
*Schedule is often flexed
*Weeknight and weekend call on a rotation basis
