Work Hours/ Schedule:
Rotating, 40 hours per week including weekdays, weekends and holidays
Minimum Education Required:
A high school diploma or its equivalent as accepted by the Texas Education Agency; or obtain a high school diploma or equivalency program expected to lead to graduation or equivalent within 1 year.
Minimum Experience Required:
1 year relevant experience as cashier in high volume setting or commiserate education and/or experience.
Minimum Licensure/Certifications Required:
Meet all city, state, and federal certification standards.
Minimum Required Skills:
Reading, basic math, written language in English. Ability to handle cash in a high volume environment.
Computer skills preferred.
Good communication and organizational skills to exercise independent judgment.
Must be discreet and courteous in handling visitors and employees.
*Familiarize self with menu and prices. Operate computer based register during meal service periods. Responsible for accurate charges to each
*Assist in set-up and maintaining service areas and dining rooms in a clean, neat, and orderly manner. Stock designated areas as needed. Lock and
unlock service entrance doors at the beginning and end of meal periods.
*Demonstrates customer skills and performs customer recovery, resolving customer issues at point of service.
*Follow established standards for food safety and sanitation.
*Performs other job duties as assigned by Supervisor/Manager
