Texas Health Presbyterian Hospital Dallas is seeking a PRN Nurse Practitioner to work in it's Women's Health Center.
The ideal candidate will possess the following qualifications:
Successful completion of APRN program in requested area of practice. Continuing nursing education as required to maintain licensure. Masters Degree preferred.
Current certification by a nationally accredited professional nursing organization such as the American Nurse Credentialing Center (ANCC) or American Academy of Nurse Practitioners (AANP) to be achieved within 2 years of training. Maintenance of Board Certification is required. Must be certified or become certified in ACLS, PALS, or NRP as appropriate to the specialty area.
2 years’ experience in a Women's Health Care as a mid level provider preferred.
Ability to provide women's healthcare services in an outpatient environment setting under the supervision and direction of a physician in the areas of obstetrics, gynecology and family planning. Recording, interpreting and evaluating medical histories and physical data of patients. Counseling patients and families.
