Texas Health Harris Methodist Hospital Fort Worth, a 726-bed Magnet-designated hospital, has a great opportunity for an occupational nurse. We're currently hiring for a full time Employee Health Nurse Manager. The qualified candidate will have the following education and experience.

Must have a BSN and 3 years experience as a clinical nurse, preferably in med-surg, emergency services, or occupational health. Supervisory experience is highly preferred.

Must have current RN licensure; Current AHA BCLS training. Practices within the regulations of the Texas Nurse Practice Act. Serves as a role model, intra/interdisciplinary collaborator and coordinator for quality patient and healthcare worker care. Possesses organizational skills and is able to make clinical judgments independently.

Hours: Monday thru Friday, 7am to 4pm.

Duties:

Functions in accordance with hospital policies and reinforces compliance with hospital policies. Gives informal/formal feedback regarding performance throughout the year. Monitors retention of direct reports. Encourages growth in new and/or expanded roles. Serves as a role model and mentor. Inspires growth and development. Maintains open active communication among all.

Monitors performance of operating budget. Analyzes financial results. Analyzes the need for new programs/services. Analyzes staffing productivity reports. Facilitates the provision of equipment/supplies.

Facilitates compliance with regulatory and accreditation agencies. Enhances professional growth and development. Demonstrates accountability and responsibility. Provides leadership and direction to departments within areas of responsibility. Facilitates or participates in committees within THR, THFW, community or locally/nationally within related Employee Health & Occupational Health

Identifies satisfaction issues. Facilitates a process to encourage communication of customers and to facilitate resolution. Fosters interdisciplinary environment to promote optimal outcomes. Actively leads and participates in interdisciplinary teams.

Deploys components of the Employee Health Program
A. Administers periodic evaluations for employees
B. Job-related injuries, exposures illness
C. Post offer assessments
D. Health and Safety Advocate

Texas Health Harris Methodist Hospital Fort Worth is a 726-bed, Magnet-designated regional referral center that has served the residents of Tarrant County and surroundings communities since 1930.
