Minimum Education Required:
Bachelor's degree (Accounting or Finance preferred.)

Minimum Qualifications Required:
Three to five years of experience with Healthcare prior Decision Support experience preferred.
Strong PC literacy with full suite of Microsoft applications. Prefer SQL experience and experience with rational database.

Preferred Qualifications:
Clinical coding (ICD-10, HCPCS, etc.) knowledge.
Training or experience with EPIC HB.
Python programming desired.

Required Skills:
Must have thorough knowledge of cost accounting principles and concepts.  Must be able to apply cost accounting concepts to products and patient encounters using medical coding terminology and Relative Value Unit (RVU) methods.

Responsibilities may include, but not limited to:
1. Processing weekly and monthly data for the decision support system
2. Maintaining the decision support system with required structure and transaction maintenance, including RVU standards.
3. Reconciling the patient level database to the General Ledger System.
4. Performing Audit processes to insure consistency and accuracy of unit costs.
5. Cost accounting data that has a high degree of accuracy and integrity.  Reconciles to the General Ledger.

This position supports the day-to-day operations of the Revenue Integrity function by evaluating accounts for errors or opportunities to improve accuracy using the internal charge capture tool.  This position performs analytical and reporting functions to monitor and evaluate the performance of the Revenue Integrity function.
