Five years of clinical experience. Three years of progressive of progressive nursing leadership success.
**Perioperative nursing experience preferred**
RN and BLS required.
**ACLS within 6 months preferred**
**CNOR within two years of hire**
Manager overseeing OR, GI, SPD and Anesthesia. 2 Nursing Supervisors as support. Current FTE direct reports 57 (includes RN, CST, Anesthesia Tech, Instrument Tech, Surgical Associates, AA, and DA). Average 20 surgical cases per day and 3 GI procedures
Nursing clinical and leadership experience/skills as noted above. Positive attitude with excellent interpersonal communication and critical thinking skills. Successfully leads, delegates, motivates and multitasks while under stress. Excellent time management skills. Basic knowledge of AORN, CAPA, SGNA and CPAN recommended practices. Knowledge of shared governance nursing practice model with practical application. Basic computer skills and training in perioperative financial background guidelines are all strongly preferred.
