Qualifications/Duties:
Texas Health Harris Methodist Hospital Southwest is seeking a full time Float RN. This is a wonderful opportunity to assist critical patients and their families through their stay in critical care. The chosen applicant will be working with the very best support staff and well qualified RN's and Physicians.

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS:
Graduate of a NLN (National League of Nursing) or CCNE (Commission on Collegiate Nursing Education) accredited nursing programs.

BSN preferred
BSN completion required within 2 year of THR Hire date

Current Registered Nurse license to practice in Texas or Compact State.

Current AHA BLS training. Credentials specific to specialty as defined.

A high degree of confidentiality, positive interpersonal skills, and ability to function in a fast-paced environment

Minimum three (3) years’ experience in Telemetry and Critical Care preferred. Computer proficiency for patient charting preferred.

SHIFT AVAILABLE:
Hours: 7pm to 7am vary with weekend and holiday requirements according to RN Float Agreement.

There are some Float Pool Requirements for this position for critical staffing shifts (major and minor holidays). The chosen applicant will be floating to various areas.
