Security Service Dispatcher for Texas Health Presbyterian Hospital Dallas

High School Diploma or equivalent required Associates Degree in Communications preferred

2-3 years of relevant experience

Valid Texas Class C Drivers’ License and be insurable.
Must be eligible for commissioning by the Texas Department of Public Safety/ Texas Commission of Private Security;
Must be eligible for licensing by Texas Commission on Law Enforcement (TCOLE).

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES: (including, but not limited to)
Must be able to type 30 words-per-minute with a maximum of three errors.
Must be able to demonstrate a working knowledge of customer-based security techniques and dispatch aided materials.
Must be able to demonstrate knowledge of personal computers.
Must be able to make sound judgments.
Must be able to deal with the public and fellow employees in a tactful and diplomatic manner.
Must have effective oral and written communication skills.
Must be able to handle stressful and crisis situations.
May be subject to further written oral and/or computer pre-assignment testing.
